What is and is not allowed?

Tens of thousands of walkers participate in the 4Days Marches. There are various regulations in place to ensure that our walking event runs smoothly, safely and fairly. We revise the regulations every year for the next 4Days Marches.

Privacy

When you register for the 4Days Marches, we process your personal data. This is essential for your registration and for arranging the reward you will be presented with on Friday. We always handle your personal data with care. We never ask for more information from you than we need and only use it where necessary.

More info

The 4Days Marches is a walking achievement event that requires participants to adequately train and prepare. In exceptional cases, individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities can apply for dispensation under the 4Daagse dispensation policy. The Guide to Applying for Medical Dispensation for Participation in the 4Days Marches provides detailed information on this process.

Participants who rely on a wheelchair due to chronic functional loss of their lower limbs can apply for dispensation to be eligible for the 4Days Marches Cross. This dispensation is granted only under specific conditions, one of which is that the participant must use a classic, non-motorized hoop wheelchair (ADL) during the event. A written request for dispensation (via email or post) can be submitted after your registration for the 4Days Marches is accepted. The Guide to Applying for Medical Dispensation for Participation in the 4Days Marches provides detailed information on this process.
