Information for the media

The 4Days Marches has always been a very mediagenic event, one that attracts large-scale media attention year after year. Will you be covering the 4Days Marches too?

Accreditation

Media representatives can apply for accreditation online before the 4Days Marches. With accreditation you get access to the press center at the start and finish area, De Wedren, receive our press releases first, and we can connect you with our participants who are 'In the spotlight.'

Special Events

There are several special activities around the 4Daagse that may be of interest to the media:

  • 4Days Mass: Sunday July 14
  • Flag Parade: Sunday July 14
  • The Waal in Flames: Sunday July 14
  • Sunset March: Monday July 15
  • Laying of the Pontoon Bridge: Thursday July 18

In the Spotlight

Participants in the 4Days Marches achieve a remarkable feat. Some do it to challenge themselves, others walk for a good cause or another special reason. In this brochure, you will find some of these participants who we put 'In the spotlight.' On Friday, during the procession on the Via Gladiola, these participants will walk with a recognizable flag, where the number on the flag corresponds to the number in this brochure. Accredited press can request contact details of these participants via communicatie@4daagse.nl.

Facts and Figures

On this page, you will find various statistics from past editions. A few weeks before the 4Days Marches a press release with facts and figures for the upcoming edition will also be sent out. Press releases can be found here.
