From 18 to 21 July 2023, tens of thousands of walkers will walk many kilometres through Nijmegen and the surrounding area to earn the much coveted 4Days Marches Cross. Registration for the 105th 4Days Marches opens on Monday 23 January at 10.00 hrs CET.

Two registration periods

There will be two registration periods this year. The first period starts on Monday, 23 January at 10.00 hrs CET for all participants who register for reward 2 and above, or were born in the years 2005 - 2011. This registration period will end on Friday, 10 February at 17.00 hrs CET.

In the second period it is possible for everyone to register for the 4Days Marches. This is possible from Monday 13 February 10.00 hrs CET up until the maximum number of registrations, which is 47,000, has been reached, or until 16 June 2023 at the latest.

Separate registration regulations apply for military participants. The complete Registration Regulations can be consulted on the website.

No draw to be held

The draw, an exciting moment for debutants since 2009, will no longer take place this year. Chairman Henny Sackers: 'The corona years and the edition that followed gave us the opportunity to re-evaluate our registration procedure. We have to keep up with the times and consider the needs of the walker. This way of registering gives people immediate clarity about their participation in the 4Days Marches, whereby we also show respect and appreciation for previous participants.'

Walkers who register for the 105th 4Days Marches receive a confirmation immediately after payment, and a ticket for the 2023 edition within 24 hours.

Registration fee

The registration fee for participation in the 105th 4Days Marches is €109. Members of the Royal Dutch Walking Association (KWbN) who are in possession of a walking pass (Wandelvoordeelpas) 2023 receive a € 5 discount.

Sackers: 'We have increased the registration fee by € 5 compared to 2022, which amounts to a relatively low increase of less than 5%. We too are confronted with inflation and a significant increase in costs, but we will of course make every effort to keep the price of our event as low as possible, so we can offer our participants a beautiful event again in 2023.
